Brand USA – January 2016
29 January 2016
Launching 4th January 2016, the Visit Florida campaign dominated 10x bus shelters along Oxford Street, for four weeks.
The bespoke campaign involved a mix of vinyl wraps and special builds, supported by Transvision screens at key London rail terminals. The campaign showcased 10 major resorts in Florida, including Tampa Bay, Palm Beach and Walt Disney World, with special elements to highlight the destinations and keep them top-of-mind with UK consumers, as one of the tourism industry’s busiest booking periods commences.
A number of the bus shelters showcased fabulous holiday content, with the addition to win a holiday with a selfie. Plus the Kennedy Space Centre site featured a 3D rocket situated on the bus shelter’s roof.
This was the first campaign launched on Oxford Street since JCDecaux took over the TFL contract, plus dominated the street from Tottenham Court Road all the way to Marble Arch.
Guy Chambers, Managing Director of Black Diamond, said: “Launching the New Year with a high-profile takeover of Oxford Street is testament to the importance of the UK market for both Brand USA and Visit Florida.
Spencer Berwin, Managing Director of Sales at JCDecaux, added: “We are delighted to launch LDN with Black Diamond. The Brand USA and Visit Florida OOH is a fun and interactive campaign that is just the start of our new vision for London.
